Why is Electrical Filtering Needed in Residential Applications?
The LED lighting and dimmer switches used in today's homes can be sensitive to the signals emitted by active electronic devices, including VFDs. We’re addressing these disruptions with new Type 3R Indoor/Outdoor rated input filters that prevent signal interference. Now available as an accessory add-on, these filters are designed and tested for use with SubDrive Connect and can be installed on the input side of the unit. Order based on your horsepower needs:

Please note that these new filters have been optimized to work effectively with SubDrive Connect models. The electrical ratings of these filters cover SubDrive Utility applications; however, additional troubleshooting and/or filter accessories may be required to completely mitigate interference issues with SubDrive Utility installations.
